It’s live.
After months of building — and years of thinking about why it needed to exist — ScaledOS is officially open today. Beta, free, and available to any B2B founder who wants in.
If you’ve been on the waitlist, your account is ready. If you’re arriving here fresh, you can get started at scaledos.com right now.
Here’s the full story of why we built it, what it does, and what this moment means.
The problem we kept seeing
Twenty years of building, scaling and exiting B2B businesses. Six years backing over 100 more through Haatch. And the same pattern, every single time.
Brilliant founders. Real businesses. Almost no honest way to know what those businesses were actually worth — until it was too late to change the number.
Not because the founders weren’t smart. Because the tools to understand enterprise value properly have always been locked behind expensive advisors, institutional relationships, or a deal process that was already in motion.
By the time most founders get a real picture of what their business is worth, the window to do something about it has already narrowed.
We got tired of watching it happen.
Why now, and why us
ScaledOS exists because of a convergence we’re in an unusual position to see.
Operator experience — the lived reality of building and selling businesses, understanding what buyers actually care about, and knowing where value is quietly leaking. Investor pattern recognition — from hundreds of businesses across sectors, stages and structures, the signals that consistently predict strong and weak outcomes. And an AI moment that finally makes PE-grade diagnostics accessible without a six-figure retainer.
We also built it for ourselves. Enterprise value is the outcome Scaled is asked to deliver in almost every client engagement. We were doing this work by hand — in workshops, over hours, with whiteboards and spreadsheets. ScaledOS is us building the thing we always wished we had.
What it does
ScaledOS scores your business across nine domains the way a serious buyer would. It gives you an enterprise value range and a health score. It tells you the single fix that would move your multiple most, right now. And it brings you back next quarter — because a number once is interesting, but a trend is what actually changes outcomes.
At launch it includes:
- The Business MOT: a scored diagnostic across the strategic, operational and financial dimensions that drive long-term value. Not a generic checklist. A sequenced view of what’s holding your business back, and what to fix first.
- The Enterprise Value Tool: a live picture of your EV range, based on your actual inputs. Directional, honest, and updated every time your business changes.
- Financial Benchmarking: your key metrics in context. How do your margins, growth rate and revenue quality compare to businesses at your stage, in your sector? This is the data investors use. Now founders can use it too.
Each tool generates AI-powered recommendations tailored to your inputs. The more you put in, the more useful it gets.
This is a beta launch — and that’s intentional
We want to be clear about what today is and isn’t.
ScaledOS is properly in beta. Things may break. Numbers might surprise you. Screens might misbehave. That’s not a caveat designed to manage expectations. It’s an invitation.
We’re launching with founders first because we want the people who will get the most from this platform to be the ones who shape it. If something doesn’t work the way it should, tell us. If a number surprises you, dig into why and let us know what you think. If a screen confuses you, that’s feedback we want.
The full public launch is planned for September. Between now and then, we’re building this properly — with the people who are already using it.
