Scaled Consulting has played a leading role in the rapid growth and sale of Glasgow-based influencer marketing agency Saulderson Media to performance marketing group Journey Further.

Over the past two years, Scaled has acted as growth advisor to the business, with Scaled founder Simon Penson also serving as Non-Executive Director. During that time, Saulderson Media has more than trebled both EBITDA and net revenue, guided by Scaled’s strategic input across commercial positioning, pricing, leadership structure and long-term value creation.

When the founders began exploring strategic options, Scaled worked alongside Cowgills to structure and manage a competitive sale process, ultimately securing a significant exit outcome (terms undisclosed) through a deal with Journey Further.

The acquisition adds influencer activation, brand partnerships and gaming-sector expertise to Journey Further’s offering, while providing Saulderson Media with a strong platform for continued international growth – particularly in the US and Europe, where much of its client base already sits.

Simon Penson, founder of Scaled Consulting, said:

“From day one, our goal was to turn a high-potential agency into a truly valuable asset – one that could command attention and a premium multiple in the market. Suhit and his team delivered on that vision, and this result reflects both their execution and our shared focus on enterprise value.”

Suhit Amin, founder and CEO of Saulderson Media, added:

“Working with Simon and Scaled transformed how we thought about growth and valuation. Their experience, network, and guidance were instrumental in getting us to this stage — and setting us up for an even bigger future with Journey Further.”

The deal represents another successful exit within Scaled’s advisory portfolio, underlining its ability to help ambitious founders scale fast, professionalise operations, and realise maximum exit value.
